Apsu Ltd General Policy

updated as of 5th September 2018

This cancellation policy sets out how Apsu Ltd (the Company) deals and manages their general arrangements for its therapy services.

Apsu Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected at all times. We will never share your information with any third party for marketing purposes. All information is handled and managed in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018.

Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our general policy and contact us if you have any questions.

TREATMENTS

Treatments are available to all persons aged between 3 years upwards who are in general good health. All children aged between 7 and 16 years inclusive must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the consultation, treatment and aftercare who will also countersign the consultation forms.

It is strongly advised to have a warm shower/bath prior to attending for a treatment to start the relaxation process and allow the oils, waxes and mediums used to be absorbed optimally and to provide the maximum benefit to you.

CONSULTATIONS

All initial treatments involve a full consultation that can take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to undertake and involves the client providing personal contact details and giving details about past medical history, current issues, medication, allergies/intolerances, lifestyle, and aims of the therapy. It is important that this information be as factual as possible to ensure the health and safety of all parties and to avoid any disappointment in the therapy being refused or postponed. This consultation time is additional to the booked therapy session to ensure that you receive the full treatment time as a therapy. Please factor this additional time into your diary for your first session. A short overview of any changes to your medical history, medication or general health will be taken at any subsequent sessions that you have.

If you have any health concerns or any undiagnosed conditions please ensure these have been reviewed with your GP beforehand. As a general precaution, no treatments will be performed on expectant women within the first trimester i.e. up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. Please do not book any sessions if you are experiencing any contagious or infectious conditions. You must be clear of these before booking. Please read the next section (REFERRALS) should you have any notable medical conditions or are under the care of a healthcare specialist such as a GP or consultant.

REFERRALS

Certain medical conditions that are under the management of a consultant or other medical professional may require Apsu Ltd to contact them beforehand to ensure that there are no potential implications to the client from the therapy. Contact will only be done with the client's full consent. Whilst we can attend to these requests quickly, please be aware that it may take several weeks for your healthcare provider to respond and that treatments may only be booked once a satisfactory response has been received from them.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment is due to begin. Late arrivals will cause the length of the treatment to be shortened in order to finish at the correct time.

PAYMENT

Payment is due direct to the Apsu therapist at the end of each single treatment. Sessions bought in bulk to take advantage of 5 sessions for the price of 4 must be paid in total up front. Card payments are preferred. If paying in cash please make sure that you have the correct amount to hand as best as possible, as little change is held on the premises.
